Thrive Medical, based in Broken Hill NSW, is a multi-disciplinary health service that offers local, personalised and evidence-based care to Far West NSW. At Thrive, our highly skilled team of health professionals take pride in delivering a first-class service within a culture of warmth and compassion. 

Thrive Medical is brand new clinic, with on-site MRI, CT, Xray, Ultrasound, Mammography and Bone Density assessment services. We have a comprehensive allied health team including physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, personal training and nursing staff. We also provide services through the NDIS sector to enable people to live independently at home. 

The Opportunity 

Our business is growing and this is a newly created role to lead and develop the clinical team. 

You will get the opportunity to bring your clinical skills to shape our clinical services and grow our community impact. 

You will work on a case load which will be varied and will include occasional Work Cover, Pre-Employment Medicals and Chronic Disease Management. We envisage the direct clinical load will decrease as your medical team increases. 

You will be supported by an experienced administration and nursing team and work collaboratively with the allied health team to improve community health outcomes. 

About You

We will provide you with autonomy and support to develop the medical team and a great network of radiology and allied health staff. 

You will also bring: 

  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • VR GP
  • Minimum 3 years Australian clinical experience in General Practice
  • Hold appropriate Visa/Residency status to work in Australia
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who will demonstrate a long-term commitment this role. A very attractive salary package ($280 000+) will be negotiated with the successful candidate. 

Modern & comfortable CMO accommodation is available for 6 months upon arrival to take up the position. 

Assistance with childcare also available, if required. 

4 weeks annual leave + 1 weeks study/PD leave.
