Ellen graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). Having grown up in Broken Hill, she was excited to return after working in the New England region for two years.

Ellen has experience in the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders, swallow difficulties, stroke rehabilitation, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC/communication devices) and degenerative diseases including Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.

Ellen has a range of experience working with people with diverse neurological presentations which include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities and ADHD.

Ellen strives to implement a client-centred approach to speech pathology, to ensure her clients are working on goals that are relevant and important to them. Ellen’s motivation to work in a rural setting as a part of a multidisciplinary team make her a strong advocate for her clients and their families.

When she is not working, Ellen enjoys being a part of a local footy club, walks with her dog, bush walking and camping, crocheting, renovating with her partner and spending time with her friends.
