About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised People and Culture Officer to join our team.
This role supports day-to-day People and Culture operations across the organisation, including recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, workforce compliance, HR systems, and reporting.
You will play a key role in ensuring processes are consistent, compliant, and well supported, while maintaining accurate workforce data to assist operational decision-making.
This role provides exposure across all areas of People and Culture in a structured environment that encourages learning and professional growth.
This role also coordinates selected workforce support services, including staff housing and crèche operations, ensuring these are coordinated consistently and fairly in line with established processes.
This position is part-time (30 hours per week), with full-time employment negotiable if the successful applicant has the skills and capability to undertake responsibilities across other key areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and employee lifecycle processes
- Provide People and Culture administrative support to staff and managers
- Support employee relations processes including documentation and coordination
- Maintain HR compliance systems
- Support workforce reporting, data management, and basic analytics
- Coordinate staff housing allocation and occupancy processes
- Support coordination of crèche staffing, rostering, and service delivery
- Coordinate staff travel and logistics as required
- Maintain accurate HR systems, records, and documentation
- Support continuous improvement of People and Culture processes and workflows
About You
- Experience in HR, administration, or people-focused support roles (or strong transferable experience)
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable working across varied HR and operational tasks
- Strong attention to detail with accurate record keeping and data entry
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with people at all levels
- Approachable, calm, and able to handle sensitive or confidential matters appropriately
- Able to manage competing priorities in a structured but busy environment
- Willing to learn and grow People and Culture capability within a supportive team
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to commencement
- Must have the right to work in Australia
