Katie graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelors in Health Science and Masters in Occupational Therapy. Following her placement at Thrive in 2022, she joined the team as an Allied Health Assistant. Now stepping into an Occupational Therapist role, Katie brings her enthusiasm and integrity to the centre of care.

With a focus on adult clients, Katie has developed a passion for home modifications, aiming to create spaces that foster independence and improve daily life. Katie’s dedication to helping others, and knack for creativity make her a valuable asset to the Thrive team.

Originally from Southern Adelaide, Katie finds joy in a diverse assortment of hobbies outside of work. In her own time, Katie can be found knitting, crocheting, painting, pole dancing, and enjoying the natural world. With a love for anything crafty or DIY, Katie’s open-mindedness and eagerness to learn enrich both her personal and professional endeavours.
