Dr. Lord brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for holistic and family-focused medicine. “I love the breadth of medicine in general practice,” Dr. Lord shared. “Caring for multiple generations of the same family and forming genuine connections is what truly inspires me. The flexibility of general practice also allows me to balance my professional and family life, which I cherish deeply.” Dr Lord is a proud Broken Hill local with her family based on a sheep station just outside of town.

Dr. Lord has a particular interest in women’s health, paediatrics, and preventative medicine but finds joy in the diversity that general practice offers. Her practical and patient-centered approach ensures every individual receives personalised and holistic care.
When reflecting on her career, Dr. Lord said, “The moments that stand out the most are always about helping people in times of great need. It’s the reason I got into medicine, and it’s incredibly rewarding.”
A fun fact about Dr. Lord? She has a superhero power—carrying all three of her children at once! Although, she admits, “It’s getting harder by the week, so I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to claim this one!”
